Hire Mike to Speak to Your Team!
My presentations center around player development individually by position, or collectively as a team and how it shapes winning. I will use my 25 years of working with some of the game’s best players globally at all levels to educate your players on the blueprint of developing a program that will help them exceed their expectations. There will be not only examples of on court work with drill diagrams that they can do to improve, but the off the court work that is needed to develop habits and a routine to improve their value. I will share stories of working with Kobe Bryant, and the things he would do to prepare during the off season as well as in season. Being able to learn from Kobe for four years was invaluable to me in the development of players at all levels and will share this with your team.
It is important to communicate with players the importance of having a plan, knowing the skill sets needed to develop as a player, and most importantly how to be invested in being a professional when it comes to their preparation. I’ve worked with every type of player on the talent spectrum from NBA Hall of Famers to High School Players and everything in between. Being mentored by the some of the game’s best teachers as well as talent evaluators gives me a big advantage when presenting findings on the topic of Player Development. One of my biggest skills as a someone in Player Development is the ability to take a player that is 9th, 10th, 11th on the depth chart and get them to 6,7,8. In my time with the Dallas Mavericks I helped players such as Dwight Powell, Dories Finney Smith, Jae Crowder, Maxi Kleber, Salah Mejri, and many others move up the depth chart. In true player development I feel as though you are doing your job when you can help players that are underdogs get to a higher level. In Presentations I enjoy sharing the stories how players like these helped their situations with a true professional attitude and approach.
Presentations tend to be 45 Minutes to an Hour in length followed by a Question and answer segment that lasts as long as there are still questions from your group.

Speak to Your Coaching Staff
I will share my thoughts, ideas, and philosophies with your coaches about Player Development. We will go through form top to bottom my systematic approach to the On Court/Off Court development of players. The biggest part of having a Program that can develop players is having the ability to turn your 8th, 9th, 10th best players into your 5th, 6th, and 7th best players consistently. It is hard for most programs to attract great talent every year, and having the ability to do that will enable teams to win more games in the long term. Besides specifically designed drills & teaching points we will discuss: Communicating With Players & Developing Player Relationship. We will touch on all the major topics in developing players to give your staff great content on how to improve your Player Development Program.
Past Topics Include

How It Works
Once Payment is made we will schedule a ZOOM call to talk about what type of presentation is needed for your program. You select the topic and we can shape the presentation the way that you need. Typically initial meetings last about 30 minutes to iron out the details. I need at least a 72 hour turn around time to Prepare a professional Presentation. Once we agree on the Date/Time I will email you a Zoom Link for the presentation. I will record it and send it to you at the conclusion of the presentation.
I pre Record the presentation to allow myself the Freedom of answering questions in the chat if anyone wants to ask questions during the presentation. It also helps the experience to know that the presentation is complete with no hiccups. There will also be a Question & Answer session after the presentation for anyone that has thoughts on the presentation.
